The plate has 1/8″ (3 mm) holes, 1/8″ size works well for sausages, salami, pepperoni, etc.
It”s typically used for first grind hamburger.

The 2 flat will work to replace a 1 flat but the 1 flat will not work to replace a 2 flat edge plate.
