How to open the battery back cover: 1.
Two thumbs side by side on the back of the electric can opener.

Slide your thumb down hard.
 3.
Open the battery cover and insert the 2 AA battery.
TIPS:1.
Please press the iron sheets to reset the blade when it is exposed outside before using the can opener.

The rear underside features a reset button, please press it or spin the groove at the right of the blade with a four-blade screwdriver to release the can when it gets stuck because of placing the lower powerful battery.
